The simple operation combined with the most wanted features will make the Alinco DJ-196T a favorite among hams looking for affordable 2 meter operation. This HT is only 2.2 x 4.9 x 1.6 inches (56x124x40 mm).

The DJ-196T features, alpha display, 5 watt output, 40 memories plus call channel, 9 autodialer memories, battery saver function, cable cloning function, direct frequency entry, auto power off with Morse alert, mosquito repel sound function, direct keypad frequency entry, backlit display and keypad, monitor and low power transmit keys and time-out timer. The DJ-196T also has extended receive from 130 to 174 MHz. (FM F2/F3). The DJ-196T also features a backlit keypad.

This radio comes with the EDC-93 wall charger, EBP-50N NiMH (9.6 V 700 mAH), BNC flexible rubber duck antenna, belt clip and hand strap.
